Welcome to the home page of the Operations Research Group. We are one of the main research groups in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Melbourne.

Our group currently consists of:

We are heavily involved in the promotion of Operations Research in Australia and elsewhere and as such we have numerous activities and strong links to our national society, the Australian Society for Operations Research, ASOR and in particular to the Melbourne Chapter of the Society.

We also run a small seminar series (OR Seminars on Useful Material, or ORSUM) where members of the group are encouraged to present material that may be of interest to others.
